Tailgating video Podcast

If you are using iTunes...check out this podcast

The Ultimate Tailgater's 2 Minute Drill

This is a podcast from the American Tailgaters Association.
The Podcast is nothing but common sense, but I just thought it was cool that there was an association for tailgating. More video podcasts can be found on their website. I guess tailgating season is at a low right now so there is not much going on over at this website. But maybe it will get crankin' more towards football season.

More interesting Tailgate websites:

Barbeque University - Great recipes, but the only thing I don't like about this guy is that he uses BBQ to refer to grilling. Well we all know that BBQ must involve pork and smoke. Otherwise a great site.

Show airs on GPTV during the summer

Boy Meets Grill - Chef Bobby Flay This show is full of great ideas and you can get all of the recipes from the Food Network site. 90% of the time he also includes a cool cocktail recipe to go with the meal. He believes that the chef/griller should be well prepared to take the heat of the grill.

The Commissioner of Tailgating - Good Tips and interesting coverage of tailgating throughout America. Although his trivia section is wrong. He says that the world's largest tailgate party is GA/FL. True... but we refer to it as the WLOCP. Then he says the game is on Sunday... Come on Commish - College games are played on Saturday.

G-Day Tailgate

Has the date for G-Day been announced? It may be around April 8th. That's the typical weekend for it.
I think this would be a good day for a spring tailgate. We can call it our scrimmage tailgate.
We should at least cook out and enjoy some refreshing mint juleps together.
I also had a thought about a trailer if ya'll are still thinking about getting one. We should talk to someone who would be in the know in that category. Phil or Mr. Lee would know. I was up there the other day and I saw that the they own one now. They would definitely be great sources for finding a used one or something along those lines.

Let's think about a spring tailgate and some menu suggestions.
We also need to talk about menu items for next season as well. JM says that it is always a good thing to have the tailgate menu planned before taxes are due. Of course the menu is always tentative based on game time...so adjustments can be made accordingly. We also need a backup plan for the Low Country Boil in case I can't get my hands on any shrimp this summer.

UGA-Palooza is like BASF

We didn't invent tailgating... we just make it better.

Thanks to W.W. for this great quote!!!
